Ruth is survived by her loving son, Michael (Andrea) Martin, and her cherished grandchildren, Michael and Nevaeh Martin. She also leaves behind her beloved “fur babies,” Thelma, Louise, and Nova; brothers, Wallace (Charlene) Martin, Claire (Pat) Martin, and Dwight (Gaytha) Martin; nephew, Roy (Carla) Daniels; nieces, Jessie (Larry) Bay, Trudy (DJ) Grigsby, Stephanie Martin, Cindy Martin, Nina Martin, Mary Ann Daniels, Jenny (Andrew) Miesch, and Christy Martin; as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Ida Martin; her sister, Sandra Sprague; and her sister-in-law, Patricia Martin. Ruth worked for many years as an operator at General Mills and later as a PC at Bellisio Foods. In her free time, she enjoyed playing games and watching videos on Facebook, cheering for her favorite monster, Godzilla, and was a devoted fan of Chuck Norris. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, and close friends. Known for her sense of humor, devotion to others, and yes—her big personality—Ruth brought laughter and love to those around her.
