Patricia Ann Eggers

Patricia Ann Eggers, age 80, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 7th, 2026, at her home. She was born September 14th, 1944, in Columbus, Ohio. In 1945 she was adopted out of St. Ann’s orphanage in Franklin County, Ohio by Noile and Kathryn Leech. Patricia was raised in Columbus and Portsmouth, Ohio.

Patricia was a 1963 graduate of Central High School in Columbus. In 1984 she graduated with her associate’s degree in nursing from the University of Rio Grande. She then went on to obtain her bachelor’s degree from Ohio University in 1994.

She attended Saint Mary Catholic Church in Columbus and made both her communion and confirmation there. She loved the Lord and her wish was that her family and friends knew of his eternal love.

Patricia discovered companions in literature, and reading became a lifelong passion. She never stopped learning about everything she could possibly get her hands on to read. She enjoyed spending time on Lake Cumberland making memories with her family.

She is survived by her first child and only son, Kenneth (Lynn) Eggers; special grandson, Max Burnett; and granddaughter, Miranda “Niki” Burnett.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her best friend and companion, her husband, Frederick Eggers.

A public viewing will be held at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill on Friday, April 10th, 2026, from 11AM-1PM with honors by the Nurse Honor Guard at the conclusion of the viewing.
