Nora Jean (Browning) Denny, born July 22nd, 1948, in Jackson, Ohio to the late Russell “Rut” and Geraldine (Harrell) Browning passed away on Monday, September 5th, 2022. Nora was a loving wife, mother, granny, and soon to be great granny. She was a rock to all, a shield and protector of her family.

She was a wife to George Denny, her husband of 54 years; mother to, George (Tina) Denny and Deana (Brian) Wiley; granny to, Joshua Wiley, Ryan Wiley, Abby Denny (William Jr.) Erickson, Aaron Wiley, and Laura Wiley; sister to, Russell (Mary) Browning, Laura “Loretta” (Terry) Barnett, Deborah Browning, Rachel Young, James “Beatle” (Sarah) Browning; sister-in-law, Cheryl-Lewis Browning; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Browning; nephews, Matt Browning and Jerrod Snyder; and mother-in-law, Dora Rainer.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 9th, 2022, from 4-8PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 10th, 2022, at 11AM with Rev.
