Melinda Lee Brown

Melinda Lee Brown, age 60, of Wellston, Ohio passed away after a courageous fight against cancer, on Sunday, March 15th, 2026. She was born June 21st, 1965, in Gallipolis, Ohio to Harry Brown and Pauline (Denny)Brown.

She is survived by her daughters, Angela Gregory and Jennifer Lambert; her son, Dustin Pierce; her grandchildren, Cassidy Gregory, Alyssa Coffey, Christian Martin, Chelsea Henry, Natalie Lambert, and Easton Crabtree; as well as many sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Derek Brown; granddaughter, Cathleen Long; and her great-granddog, Daisy Mae.

Melinda attended Wellston High School. Throughout her life she worked at numerous places, but Melinda’s greatest purpose in life was caring for those she loved. As a devoted caretaker to her son and grandson, she gave endlessly of herself with patience, strength, and unconditional love. Her nurturing spirit and quiet sacrifices defined who she was, and her love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family.
