Melanie Wynne (Rucker) Aldridge, age 52, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away on Thursday, February 1st, 2024, at Adena Regional Medical Center of Chillicothe, Ohio. She was born September 28th, 1971, in Columbus, Ohio to Verlene Rucker and the late, Asa Rucker.
She is survived by her daughter, Destinie Rucker and son, Nathaniel Rucker; grandchildren, Emmaly Rucker, Alice Snyder, and Brody Bailey all of Oak Hill, Ohio; brother, Alan (Seleesa) Rucker of Rio Grande, Ohio; sister, Kim (Chris) Hughes of Chillicothe, Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 5th, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill, Ohio. In keeping with Melanie’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com .
