Leland “Lee” D. Greene, age 93, passed away peacefully at Holzer Hospice of Jackson on Monday, January 15th, 2024. He was born December 8th, 1930, in Jackson, Ohio to the late Charlie and Lucile Greene.

Lee was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed watching old westerns. He drove a milk truck for Fairmount Foods for many years and finished his work career at Riepenhoff Distributing. He was a hard worker and took pride in his work.

He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Donna Jean (Collins) Greene; two children, Barry (Vanessa) Greene of Supply, North Carolina and Lisa (David) Tidrick of Jackson, Ohio; grandchildren: Melissa (Nathan) Kopp of Troy, Ohio, Matthew (Heather) Greene of Columbus, Ohio, Max Greene of Supply, North Carolina, Taylor Robinson of Jackson, Ohio, and Tatum Campbell (Steven Rasp) of Jackson, Ohio; great-grandchildren: Alex and Collins Kopp, Zayden, Veda, and Benson Rasp, and Leo and Marz Dodson; and a sister, Laverne Smith of Jackson, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister and a brother, Duane Greene.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 18th, 2024, from 2-3PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will follow at 3PM with Pastor Burly Muncy officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com .
