Kevin Scott Adkins

Kevin Scott Adkins, age 64, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away on June 3rd, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loved ones after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Scott was a loving father, grandfather, and brother whose love was unwavering and his mouth opinionatedly unfiltered.

Scott graduated from Oak Hill High School in 1980. He went on to marry his wife, Tina, in 1981 and together they had two wonderful kids.

One of Scott’s greatest joys in life was playing and reading books with his granddaughter, Nevaeh. He was exceptionally proud to have taught his granddaughter math and how to play poker.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tina Adkins; his son, Donald (Allene) Adkins; his daughter, Aja Adkins; his cherished granddaughter, Nevaeh Adkins; his brothers, Steve (Karen) Adkins, Ronnie (Shelba) Adkins, and Randy (Debbie) Adkins; his sister, Kim Adkins; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donna and Donald Adkins.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 7th, 2026, from 12PM-2PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson with a service immediately after at 2PM with Rev. Stan Howard officiating. Burial will follow at German-Salem Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
