Joy Nellane (Jones) Orender, age 63, of Lancaster, Ohio peacefully went to be with her dear son, Andy on Thursday, February 25 at OSU Medical Center. She was born in Louisiana on October 16, 1957 to the late Evan Dwight and Shirley Ann Jones.

Joy is survived by her daughter, Kelli (John Beatty) of Jackson, Ohio; grandsons: John Beatty III of Columbus, Ohio, and Joshua Beatty and Jace (Catherine) Beatty all of Jackson, Ohio; great-grandson, Christopher Andrew Nicolas Beatty of Jackson, Ohio; brother, Randy Jones of Alabama; sisters: Kelli Harper of Wellston, Ohio, Faith (Dan Hocter) of Alabama, and Hope Jones (George Sewald) of Kent, Ohio; significant other, Doug Johnson of Lancaster, Ohio; and nephew, Evan Hocter of Arizona.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Stephen Andrew “Andy” Orender; and special step-grandson, Christopher Michael Beatty.

Joy enjoyed listening to music and she enjoyed her pets, Lilly, Haley, and Pooky. She loved her family and spending time with them, especially her grandsons and new great-grandbaby. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. She missed her son deeply and has now been reunited with him and all her loved ones who passed on before her.
