Johnny C. Fulton, born October 12, 1967, in Cincinnati, Ohio, unexpectantly passed away Friday December 19, 2025, at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love and friendship. Johnny was an avid hunter and fisherman and MASH watcher, who found his greatest joy in the outdoors, spending time with his sons and his brother. He loved watching for deer and sharing those quiet moments in nature.
Johnny is survived by his mother, Mary Fulton of Batavia, OH; his three sons, Joe Fulton of Mt. Healthy, OH, Johnathon (Jody) Fulton of Amelia, OH, and Jeremy Fulton of Mt. Healthy, OH; his brother and best friend, Charlie Fulton of Batavia, OH; his sister and best friend, Lisa (Brian) Detty of Oak Hill, OH; his brother, George Fulton; niece, Nicole (Corey Hutton) of Oak Hill, OH; nephew, Chase (Jaz) Detty of Oak Hill, OH; great-nieces, Kynlee (“Little Bitty”), Clara (“Clare Bear”) Wrigslee; and great-nephew, Krue. He is also survived by stepsons, Josh and Jacob Bullock, of Mt. Healthy, OH, and his dear longtime friend and hunting buddy, Wayne Tomamicheal, who meant the world to him, along with a host of other friends and family.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father, George P. Fulton; stepfather, Harold Brown; and grandparents, Charles and Evelyn Frith.
For anyone who knew Johnny, it was easy to gain a friend. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and offered a listening ear without judgment. One of his favorite pastimes, besides hunting, was spending time with his brother-in-law Brian—most days you could find them joking and giving each other a hard time. Johnny often spoke about the struggles he faced in life, but he also shared how his walk with Christ saved him and gave him peace.
