Janice Lee Leedy, age 64, of Oak Hill, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson.  She was born October 4, 1959, in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Willard and Kathryn (McFann) McCoy.

She is survived by her son, Bradley (Starlene) Woods; granddaughter, Taylor Woods; great grandson, Brighton Kennard; brothers, Larry McCoy, and Kenneth McCoy; sisters, Lisa McGowen, Melissa Marchio, Susie Hicks and Sheliah Haislop.

In addition to her parents, Janice is preceded in death by her son, Nathan Leedy; brothers, Bob McCoy and Don McCoy; and her sister, Linda Vititoe.

She loved traveling, fishing, spending time outdoors, she enjoyed working for Rio Grande and interacting with the students.  Her hobby was spending time with her great grandson, Brighton.  She also enjoyed her long daily talks with Steve, from Ghana.  She will be missed.

At her family’s request, she will be cremated.  No public services will be held.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill.  Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com .
