James Robert Warren

James Robert “Jim Bob” Warren, age 75, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was born November 26, 1950, in Boone County, West Virginia to the late Robert and Margaret (Miller) Warren.

Jim Bob graduated from Jackson High School in 1968. He went on to school to learn the boilermaker trade and finished the apprenticeship program and entered the local Union 105 at the age of 23. He then met his wife and best friend of 50 years Connie (Snyder) Warren, who survives. Jim Bob was an avid fisherman, who enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson. He retired in 2006 as a boilermaker.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Shawn Warren, of Jackson; granddaughters, Haley Warren, of Jackson; great granddaughter, Cassidy Bing, of Oak Hill; great great grandson, Corbin; his cousin, Margaret Lambert; and his 1967 Chevelle.

At his request, his body will be cremated. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 4-6 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home in Jackson. A celebration of life will follow on Wednesday at 6:00 with Pastor Stan Howard officiating. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
