Gary Robert Leonard, age 71, of Oak Hill, passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 15, 2024.  He was born December 28, 1952, in Oak Hill, to the late William Clarence and Hazel Leonard.

He is survived by his siblings, Linda (Dwight) Woods, Shelba (Ronnie) Adkins, Rosalie Straight, Lloyd Leonard, Dale Leonard and Dennis (Rosa) Leonard.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Billy, Ronnie Darrell, and Monte Leonard, and a sister, Beverly Ross.

Gary graduated from Oak Hill High School in 1972.  He lived and worked in Michigan for many years of his life.  He moved back to Oak Hill in in 2012.

At his request, he will be cremated.  No public services will be held.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill.  Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com .
