Elizabeth "Libby" Jane Hilderbrant

Elizabeth J. “Libby” (Dickens) Hilderbrant, age 85, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 14th, 2025. Libby was born September 11th, 1940, in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Logan and Mildred (Radabaugh) Dickens.

Libby was an avid Elvis fan. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa (James) Shoemaker; sons, Warner “Bub” (Lori) Hilderbrant and Anthony (Laci) Hilderbrant; grandchildren: Mikayla (Stephen) Mullins, Cole (Abby) Hilderbrant, Brooklyn Carpenter, Kelsey Hilderbrant, and Aaron Hilderbrant; great-grandchildren: Elliana Carpenter, Jackson Carpenter, and Kayson Johnson; sister, Ethel Snyder; and her brother, Doug Dickens.

Besides her parents, Libby was preceded in death by her husband, Warner Hilderbrant; sister, Jenny McKenzie; and brothers, Darrell Dickens and Logan Dickens Jr.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 18th, 2025, from 11AM-1PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill with a funeral service immediately after at 1PM. Burial will follow at Jackson Furnace Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
