Eddie Keith Canter, age 72, passed away Thursday, December 9th, 2021, at Scioto Trails in Lucasville, Ohio. He was born February 10th, 1949, in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Charles E. and Clara (Caldwell) Canter.

Eddie is survived by three sisters, Nettie Cooper, Shirley McCain, and Freda Woods; one brother, Carl Canter; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Phillip, Everett, Robert, and Don; six sisters: Ruby, Betty, Lottie, Mary Jane, Brenda Kay, and Elizabeth; as well as maternal and paternal grandparents.

Eddie formerly attended Hope Haven and worked at JVAC Industries. He enjoyed watching TV, he loved animals, children, and Christmas.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 13th, 2021, from 11AM-2PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2PM at the funeral home.
