Donald Ray Arthur

Donald Ray Arthur, age 68, passed away July 13th, 2026, at Edgewood Manor of Lucasville. He was born June 22nd, 1958, in Oak Hill, Ohio, to the late Harold and Inez (Webb) Arthur.

Donald was a 1976 graduate of Jackson High School where he was active in the band. He loved Ohio State football. Prior to his decline in health he worked at Pillsbury down through the years.

He is survived by his sister, Sandra Bailey; nieces: Kendra (Kevin) Shope, Kathy Bennington (Kenny), and April (Tina) Bradley; great-niece, Courtney Long; great-nephew, Philip Bennington; great-great-nephew, Elijah Fields; aunts, Betty Reese and Ann Woods; and numerous cousins.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by two brothers, Vinton and Jim Arthur; one niece, Fran Arthur; and his grandparents: Foster and Grace Webb and Homer and Nora Arthur.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 18th, 2026, from 11AM-1PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson with a funeral service immediately after at 1PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
