Deanna Rose Adkins, age 83, passed away Sunday, March 24th, 2024, at Four Winds of Jackson. She was born January 13th, 1941, in Polding, Ohio to the late Paul and Bessie (Leslie) Hartwing.

Deanna is survived by her sons: Robert Lee (Diana) Adkins and Douglas Allen (Christy) Adkins; grandchildren: Hanna M. Adkins, Nathan R. Adkins, Douglas Adkins Jr., and Christopher Adkins.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter, Amanda Adkins; and siblings: Paul Hartwig, Richard Hartwig, Ray Hartwig, Fred Hartwig, Jennie Green, Mary Gray, Frieda Hammond, Florence Sanderson, and Carrie Cotterman.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 1st, 2024, from 12-2PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will follow at 2PM with Pastor Dale Adkins Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com .
