Conrad Lee Bowen Sr

Conrad Lee Bowen Sr., age 79 of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away July 16, 2026, at the OSU Medical Center in Columbus Ohio. He was born July 29, 1946, in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Willard R. and Elizabeth (Fox) Bowen.

Conrad is leaving behind many people that love him and will miss him dearly.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Connie Lou Bowen; his four children: Conrad “Sonny” (Tina) Bowen Jr., Rusty (Angie) Bowen, Angie (Mike) Roach, and Michael (Tammy) Bowen; his grandchildren whom he adored: Josh (Brinley) Bowen, Brittany (CJ) Bowen, Tyler (Montana) Roach, Shelbie (Jerry) Bowen, and Joseph (Aliyah) Bowen; eight special great-grandchildren who will miss their papaw: Myah & Aceyn, Oakleigh & Cooper, Brylee, Liam & Zoey, and Emery; and special niece, Teresa (Craig) Holley; brother, Dwight (Monica); sister, Marsha (Darrell) Stiltner.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Raymond and Willard “Bubbie”, and sister, Sandra Bowen.

Conrad always enjoyed watching his westerns and boxing. He also loved spending time with his two dogs, TinTan and Snuggles while they were here. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1967.

Conrad will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him and love him.

Calling hours will be held Monday, July 20, 2026, from 2 PM to 4 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. A graveside service at C.M. Cemetery with military honors will immediately follow the calling hours with Rev. Stan Howard officiating.
