Clyde L. Childers

Clyde L. Childers, age 77, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, May 22, 2026. He was born November 3, 1948 in Franklin county, Ohio.

He is survived by his children, Gary (Julie) Childers, Erica (Kent) Causey, Jason (Martha) Kerns, and Chrissy (Andy) Yagel. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Emily and Brent Childers, Heidi (Dustin) Willis, Chelsea (Jarod) Mollett, Chase Causey, Andrew, Tommy (Chloe) Kerns, Cameron Kerns, Hannah Yagel (Devin Cremeans), Allison Yagel, and David Yagel; and three great grandchildren.

Clyde was preceded in death by his wife Rhonda Childers.

Clyde graduated from Jackson High School. He worked at Jackson Implement for almost 60 years. Clyde stayed to himself, he flew under the radar and was a kind, honest, caring, and gentle soul. He showed love and compassion for everyone he met. Clyde’s life was marked by his deep love for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, which was displayed in the way he quietly loved everyone he met.
