Carrie Mae Adkins

Carrie Mae Adkins, age 88, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away July 24th, 2026, at her home. She was born January 15th, 1938, in Oak Hill, Ohio, to the late John and Emma (Cantar) Brown.

Carrie is survived by her son, James Jr. “Jamie” (Debra) Adkins; granddaughter who was her caretaker, Jennifer Montefusco (Jacob Emberton); eight other grandchildren; and twenty-five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Adkins and several siblings.
