Carolyn Lorbach, age 93, of Jackson, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 24th, 2024, at Jenkins Care Community. She was born March 4th, 1930, to the late Howard and Rosa (Hayth) Yerian.

Carolyn and Kenneth, who preceded her in death in 2015, were married on June 21st, 1952. Carolyn was a long-time member of Christ Church of Jackson (formerly, Christ United Methodist) and faithfully attended as long as her health allowed. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Steve (Tammy) Lorbach; daughters, Debra (Don) Price and Denise (Paul) Brown; grandchildren: Micah (Erica) Brown, Michele (Justin) Hall, Stephanie (Chris) Erwin, and Jason Lorbach; great-granddaughter, Sloane Erwin; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her brothers, Loren and Warren Yerian; sisters, Glenna Paugh, MaryLee Wickline, and Peg Perry; and nieces, Cheryl Yerian Kearns and Marilyn Yerian Miller.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024, from 6PM-8PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 29th, 2024, at 11AM at the funeral home with Rev. Janie Karl officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
