Anna Marie Williams, age 76, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 22, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family. She was diagnosed with lung cancer in May and fought with strength, faith, and grace until the Lord called her home.
Ann was born on March 28, 1949, the daughter of the late Douglas and Marie Leach of Ray, Ohio.
She was a devoted mother and a cherished mamaw not only to her own family, but to many who were blessed to know her. Ann had a remarkable gift for making people feel loved, welcomed, and accepted. She always saw the good in everyone and cared for others with a loving heart. To her family, she was truly their angel. Her home was a place of warmth and comfort, famous for her homemade breakfasts and a table that was always open to anyone lucky enough to sit at it.
Ann loved spending time with her family in every season of life, whether sleigh riding in the snow, watching the rain from her back porch, working in her yard, relaxing by the pool, taking walks, going on jeep rides, or enjoying trips to the beach.
She also enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds, working puzzles, playing games with her grandkids, watching her favorite TV shows, and trips to the casino.
Ann is survived by her one perfect son, Gerald (Tracy) Williams; and her three loving daughters, Valerie (Brad) Erwin, Shelley (Michael) Webb, and Casey (Rodney) Campbell. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren: Lissa (Williams) McCracken and Brock and Bella Williams, Landon, Lane, and Lynlee Marie Erwin, Codey Haynes, Haley Ann (Webb) Humphreys, Lexie and Gabby Webb, Maddie (Campbell) Strange, and Boston and Palmer Campbell. She was blessed with four great grandchildren: Connor, Hailee, and Brogan McCracken and Charleigh Anna Ray. Ann is also survived by her sisters, Kay (Larry) Meredith and Becky Noble; and her brothers, Paul, Hugh (Judy), and Ralph (Linda) Leach. She is also survived by her special friend and caregiver, Larry Waugh.
Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill Williams; her parents; her father and mother-in-law, Everett and Ruth Williams; brothers, Allen and Lewis Leach; brothers-in-law, Joe, Larry, and Bob Williams; sisters-in-law, Deloris “Sis” Manring, Leah Williams, and Dottie Williams; nephews, Scottie Lambert, Chris Williams, and Rob Norman; and nieces, Allie and Missy Williams.
A special thank you to Julie Griffiths for her love and care during Ann’s illness.
Ann loved the Lord and trusted Him completely, even in her hardest days. While her family grieves her passing, they rejoice in knowing she is healed, at peace, and reunited with loved ones in heaven. Her legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering faith will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her.
