Anna “Ann” M. (Ireland) Cruse, age 81, of Jackson, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 9th, 2023, at Holzer Hospital of Jackson. She was born February 27th, 1942, in Wellston, Ohio to the late Frank and Othella (Butts) Ireland.

Ann was a former employee of Chun King (Bellisio’s) and the Sweet Tooth Restaurant. She was a loving mother and devoted wife. She attended Buckeye Community Church and then later attended Bethesda Chapel Freewill Baptist. Her ailing health stopped her from going pretty much anywhere, but she never lost her faith in God. She spent the last ten year of her life watching television and reading.

She is survived by two children, Jack Edward Cruse Jr. of Jackson, Ohio and Brenda Stiltner of Wellston, Ohio; three grandsons: Joshua David Stiltner of Wellston, Ohio, Jeffery Scott Stiltner of Jackson, Ohio, and Huntter Gauge of Wellston, Ohio; brothers: Earl Irland of Wellston, Ohio, Jerry Ireland of Jackson, Ohio, and Carl Ireland of Vinton, Ohio; sisters: Joan Vanhoose of Grove City, Ohio, Carolyn Pittenger of Jackson, Ohio, Audry (Homer) Martin of Jackson, Ohio, and Hope Sizemore of Jackson, Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Lynn Cruse; one brother, William “Bill” Ireland; two sisters, Patty Copas and Jessie Faye Nichols; and brothers-in-law, Raymond Copas and Ralph Nichols.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 15th, 2023, from 11-1PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1PM with Rev.
