Vera Rita “Birdie” (Delaney) Coppock went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 29th, 2021. Vera was 97 years young. She was married to Kenneth Coppock for 58 years. She was a member of the Blackfork Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy (Thomas) Rankin and Kathy (Larry) Crusan; grandchildren: Christina (Burt) Kisor, Thomas “Tommy” Rankin, and David (Carmen) Crusan; great-grandchildren: Sonja (Adam) Johnson, Natosha (Blake) Harrison, Greg Crusan, Brock Kisor, and Max Rankin; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Vera was loved dearly and will be missed by many.
Vera was preceded in death by her parents, Hiram Delaney and Minnie (Sharp) Delaney; husband, Kenneth Coppock; son-in-law, Lawrence “Larry” Crusan; granddaughter, Kimberly Rankin; eight brothers; and three sisters.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 3rd, 2021, from 12-2PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2PM with burial to follow at C.M. Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
