Alan Richard Carter, age 69, of Englewood, Ohio passed away Thursday, August 5th, 2021, at Wood Glen Alzheimers Community in Dayton. He was born November 27th, 1951, in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late John and Almeda (Kuhn) Carter.
He is survived by his children: Dustin Carter of Brookville, OH, Cameron Carter of Brookville, OH, Micah Carter of Englewood, OH, Cindy (Ronnie) Bentley of Wellston, OH, Angie (Chuck) Beckley of Jackson, OH and Doug Dickens of South Webster, OH; grandchildren: Tye Carter, Olivia Carter, Emma Carter, Mason Woods, Baylee Woods, Tyler Rice, Alyssa Ondera, Brandon Potts, Ashley Anderson, Whitney Franklin and Chase Wicker. He is also survived by his siblings: Judy (clyde) skaggs, linda (John) Bailey, Donna Reese (Rodger Sturgill), Janie (Chris) Stevens and Myron (Sandra) Wisecup; as well as many nieces, nephews, great grandkids and other relatives & friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Alanna D. Carter, brother Melvin W. Carter and nephews John K. Bailey and Harold W. Carter
Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 9th, 2021, from 12PM-2PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2PM with Bill Zink officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.lewisgillum.com.
