Jacob Scharbrough, age 75, of Pedro, Ohio passed away Sunday, July 5th, 2020. He was born May 20th, 1945 in Stanford, Kentucky to the late Henry Scharbrough and Sarah Elizabeth (Allen) Butler.

Jacob enjoyed going to the flea markets and talking on the CB radio. He never met a stranger and was willing to help anyone in need. He loved his family and grandchildren dearly. He was of the Pentecostal faith and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by children: David (Donna) Scharbrough of Portsmouth, Ohio, Tish (David) Canter of Oak Hill, Ohio, Denise (Randy) Shepherd of Pedro, Ohio, Wayne (Debbie) Scharbrough of Piketon, Ohio, Paul (Sherry) Scharbrough of Chillicothe, Ohio, and Crystal (Brian) French of Pedro, Ohio; 24 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; brother, John (Maxine) Scharbrough; sister, Christine Terry; and sister-in-law, Rose Scharbrough.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella (Dearth) Scharbrough; son, Gayle Scharbrough; grandsons, Brenden and Cory Scharbrough; siblings: William Henry Scharbrough, Martin David Scharbrough, Joseph Scharbrough, James Edward (Nancy) Scharbrough, Samuel (Bonnie) Scharbrough, Charles Ulysses Scharbrough, and Robert (Shirley) Scharbrough; and his beloved dog, Hollie Jo.
