Betty Mae Cofer, age 89, passed away at the Hospice Care Center of Ashland on Monday, November 27th, 2017. She was born September 11th, 1928 in Blackfork, Ohio to the late Alva and Margaret (Johnson) Craddolph.

She is survived by her sons, Gregory Mark (Carol) Cofer of Illinois and Myron Dean (Marta) Cofer of Ironton, Ohio; grandchildren: Monette D. (Terry) Cofer Mack, Paul Cofer, Lauren Cofer; sister, Addi J. Craddolph of Columbus, Ohio; brother, Wallace Craddolph of Cleveland, Ohio; as well as a host of nephews, cousins, and close friends.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Cofer; daughter, Marlene D. Cofer; great-grandson, DeShawn Cofer; siblings: Richard Craddolph, Samuel Craddolph, Frank Rollins, Howard Rollins, Hazel (Craddolph) Nolan, and Marie Wilson.

Betty was a lifetime member of Union Baptist Church of Blackfork, Ohio where she served in the choir and on the kitchen committee. Betty was also a missionary.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 1st, 2017 from 12-1pm with funeral services following immediately after at 1pm with Rev. Keith Fulton officiating at Union Baptist Church in Blackfork. Burial will follow at Union Baptist Cemetery.
